Creating A Gorgeous Home and Garden

After I decided to put my home on the market, I knew that I had to do something to improve the look and feel of my place. I started looking around at different ways to create a more beautiful home and garden, so that my property would sell quickly. I decided to completely renovate the exterior of the home, and it was really incredible to see the place come to life. I also had a landscaping team touch up my flowerbeds, and it was really great to see how much of a difference it made. This blog is all about creating a gorgeous home that you will love--so that you can sell it or keep it for yourself to love forever.

Time for Your Child to Move on from the Crib? 4 Reasons to Transition to a Queen-Size Bed

If it's time for your child to transition from the crib, think big. Most people transition their children from the crib to a toddler bed, but that might not be the best for your child. In fact, it might be better to buy your child a queen size bed instead. If you don't think your child is ready for a queen-size bed, read the information provided below. Here are just four reasons why your child should transition from a crib to a queen-size bed.

1. Give Your Child Room to Grow

Now that it's time to transition your child from their crib, give them the opportunity to grow. A toddler bed will provide a short-term transition for your child, but the transition will be short-lived. That's because your child will outgrow it in just a year or two. But, that's not the case when you choose a queen-size bed for your child. With a queen-size bed, your child will have plenty of room to grow as they get older. A queen-size bed will also give your child room to stretch out while they sleep.

2. Encourage Independence

If your child doesn't have enough room in their bed, they may not sleep as soundly as they should. In fact, they may wake up throughout the night. Unfortunately, each time they wake up, they may interrupt your sleep as well. One way to improve your child's sleep, and encourage independence, is to transition them to a queen-size bed.

3. Save Time and Money

While a toddler bed is a good transition bed, your child will outgrow it. This means you could end up investing in at least two other beds for your child, especially if you go from toddler bed to twin bed. Not only will you spend more money on beds and mattresses, but you'll also spend more time, which is why you should get your child a queen-size bed as soon as they grow out of the crib. When you transition your child to a queen-size bed, it will be the only bed you need to buy your child for years.

4. Increase the Fun

Now that you're going to transition your child to a new bed, think about the fun factor. Toddler beds provide just enough room for your child to sleep. But, when your child transitions to a queen-size bed, they'll have enough room to go beyond sleep. Your child will be able to bounce, play, and relax on their queen-size bed. In addition, there's also enough room for them to cuddle with you, which they can't do in a toddler bed.
